Daring Heroes Descend for Drop Zone
It was a thrilling scene—Batman, a fearless 90-year-old grandma, and even Ken and Barbie all hanging off the side of one of Winnipeg’s tallest buildings! It sounds like a wild adventure, but it's actually Easter Seals Drop Zone in support of Manitoba Possible.
The annual event is more than just a knee-shaking, adrenaline-pumping adventure – it's about helping Manitoba Possible break down barriers to create an inclusive and accessible society for all.
Over $86,000 was raised to support Manitoba Possible’s diverse programs and services, including assistive technology that opens a world of independence and barrier-free summer camps that enable kids to create lasting memories.
This year, 70 brave rappellers took the plunge off Manitoba Hydro Place. Some were first-timers and others returned for another adventure. Many participants rapelled with their coworkers, and 90-year-old Diane Judge descended the building alongside her grandson to celebrate her birthday.
We are incredibly grateful to our rappellers, sponsors, and volunteers who made it all possible. For those that missed out, don't worry – there's always next year! Whether you're a thrill-seeker ready to rappel or just someone who wants to support Manitoba Possible, sign-up for updates so you can get in on the action.
