Drop Zone raised over $70,000 for Manitobans with disabilities
On August 23, 2022, 45 brave Manitobans rappelled down the Manitoba Hydro building while raising funds for programs that remove barriers for Manitobans with disabilities. A long-standing supporter of Easter Seals Manitoba affiliate, Manitoba Possible, host sponsor Manitoba Hydro's partnership enables more kids to experience inclusive and accessible summer camps, find independence with mobility and assistive devices and participate fully and equally in life and play.
Manitobans gathered along the sidewalks and Community Zone to look up and watch as people rappelled. Extreme Fries and Kyu Grill kept hunger at bay, and tunes from Corus Entertainment had people dancing in the street.
