We turned the province red on June 16!

As the provincial branch of Easter Seals Canada in Manitoba, we turned the province’s most famous landmarks red on June 16th to celebrate 100 years of Easter Seals in Canada.

“This year, as we mark 100 years of Easter Seals in Canada, Manitoba is Possible is excited to celebrate the valuable contributions and leadership of Canadians with disabilities and highlight the work of individuals, organizations and communities who are removing barriers. This celebration is also a call to action to accelerate the progress towards an inclusive and accessible society for all,” says Dana Erickson, CEO of Manitoba Possible, the provincial Easter Seals affiliate.

We lit up eight landmarks in the communities where Manitoba Possible has offices.

  • Brandon City Hall - City of Brandon

  • Brandon University will be hosting a flag-raising on June 16 at 9:00 AM and a red-themed floral garden has been planted on the university grounds

  • Dauphin: Watson Art Centre
